mission:
Hogeschool - Universiteit Brussel (HUB) is the result of a merger of four Brussels-based Institutes for Higher Education (EHSAL, HONIM, KUB, VLEKHO). It is the first institute of higher education in Belgium that houses both a college (professional higher education) and a university (academic education).
HUB fosters a student-centred culture. Our institute of higher education aims at developing a student's talents as well as stimulating him/her in his/her personal growth and social commitment.
Education at HUB revolves around one basic principle: practice-based education built on science, i.e. practice-based but always founded on science.
All study activities are characterised by thinking, daring, doing, persevering.
They will serve as a basis for self directed learning as well as continuous learning.
