From 24th to 29th May 2015, Flanders Knowledge Area / Study in Flanders participated in the NAFSA conference and exhibition in Boston, Massachusetts. The theme of the conference was: New Horizons in International Education.
Twenty representatives of the following Flemish higher education institutions took part in NAFSA: Artevelde University College, Ghent University, Howest – University College West Flanders, Karel de Grote University College, ODISEE, UCLL, KU Leuven, Thomas More and University of Antwerp.
On Wednesday 27th May 2015 Flanders Knowledge Area, in cooperation with Fulbright and Wallonie-Bruxelles Campus, organised a Belgian Higher Education Networking Reception for 250 partners of the Belgian higher education institutions.
VLIR-UOS launched a study to see how it can support researchers to help them communicate more and better about their research and its impact.
As a result of the study VLIR-UOS wrote a handbook Research: how do you get it out there? with practical communication tips and inspiring examples.
