  1. Search the Study programmes database to find a suitable course.
  2. Consult the pages under Preparing your stay and use the links and addresses.
  3. Contact the international relations office of your home institution. Find out about scholarships and student exchange opportunities.
  4. Contact the university, university college or postgraduate training institution in Flanders to obtain information about admission requirements, tuition fees, etc.
  5. Follow the Flemish institution’s procedure for gaining admission.
  6. Check immigration regulations. Gather all necessary documents. For a complete list of relevant documents, refer to your host institution.
  7. Contact the Belgian Embassy or the office of the Flemish representative in your country.
  8. Arrange a place to live. Ask your host institution for information and help.
  9. Check your insurance status.
  10. Make your travel plans.

It is important that you talk with your home institution, to the Flemish institution of your choice and to the Belgian or Flemish diplomatic representatives in your country.
